Can you believe
that God sent to me
the greatest friend
there ever could be?
She just appeared
and it was great
like she snuck out
through Heavens gate.
She was always there
when I was feeling blue
its as if she knew
when I didn't know what to do.
She lifted my spirits
because I know she did care
I couldn't stay down
when of my feelings she made me aware.
When He sent my friend
God definitely knew
that there would be times
that my friend would know what to do.
I must be thankful to God
for sending to me
the greatest friend
there ever could be.

Peggy two weeks before she died

For Peggy

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there I do not sleep.
I have departed from this earthly life
No more work, worry nor strife.
I am everywhere and everything at once.
Flowing into all things, understanding all things.
There is neither time nor timelessness,
I am where my body is, as well as, everywhere else.
Where ever you are day or night...
I am nearby, but not in your sight.
I see for all of us the sunlight...
the grass and the stars at night.
I am a thousand winds that blow..
And the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
And the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush...
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
So do not stand at my grave and cry...
I am not there I did not die.
